Pre-Press

Our scanning department is equipped with high end drum scanning for full color and black and white scans. The scans are easily processed for Macintosh or IBM platforms as well as conventional film output.

Maximum scanning input size is 22 x28. Our highly trained color specialists preview and correct color on all scans to provide high quality scans.

All jobs are run through an extensive pre-flight check to assure all elements are set up properly, fonts are included and colors are set-up for proper color output of film or plates. Our pre-press department is compatible with both IBM/Mac platforms.

Our systems are the latest high speed computers to accelerate scanning and output with quality output.

Assembly and output of jobs are run through our computers which are capable of handling almost any size project, and are trapped to proper press specifications.

Imaging to film, plate and proof are the critical final step before sending a job to the press. This requires expertise in screen set-up, color consistency and calibration, trapping, and accurate proofing. Our equipment and trained professionals realize this and take on this challenge with the same level of care that they would give their own project.

Our dediction to high standards continues while the job is on press. Our pressmen pull one sample sheet one for every one hundred sheets printed to assure color accuracy and to make sure the job is free of any defects.
